WasteCon Golf Tournament
Road-E-O

SWANA workshops are interactive learning events presented by municipal solid waste management experts and SWANA technical staff. Workshop topics vary, covering such issues as the components of an integrated MSW system, regionalization, legislation and regulations, recycling, and landfill design and operations. Click Here to register for our next workshop.

One of the greatest benefits of SWANA membership is the ability to network with your local colleagues, share camaraderie and develop leadership skills. Local, regional and international events provide these opportunities.

SWANA's Manager of Landfill Operations (MOLO) course has been taught in over 100 locations to more than 6,000 solid waste management professionals. Currently there are over 1,500 Certified Landfill Managers and Inspectors as part of SWANA's voluntary certification program. Many states now require Landfill Manager certification as a job requirement, and many more are leaning that way.

The Road-E-O features a competition pitting equipment operators from different municipalities against each other in a variety of skills tests. This is a great opportunity for team-building and a fun competitive spirit pervades the event.

This event offers tremendous opportunities to network with other solid waste professionals, see the latest products being offered, and hear from some of the leaders in the industry on timely subjects which effect each of us in our daily operations.
